We thank our customers and other partners for good cooperation in the past year.
2009 has been a very challenging year for the entire profession. First, the terms of trade between commodities and the meat were quite uneven. Then the financial crisis came, which meant that the STS has so far been able to get the profession to help the economy is now a obstacle because of declining values. It does, of course, that with the challenges that agriculture faces, it has become extremely difficult.
Areas of focus will therefore be primarily to balance and surplus in actual operation. This starts by getting into an overall strategy about future operations. This may, in our view, among other things, be done by putting together an expert group who does not have "shares" in previous decisions. This means that it is professionally competent partners who are not involved in the earlier bad decisions.
Our partner Niels Ove Thomsen per. 1. January 2010 sought new challenges and got a job at Danpig. Thomas, Niels Ove and I have had a constructive and fruitful cooperation in the past year. We want Niels Ove every success in his future job and thanks for good cooperation.
Anette Lembke-Jensen is at 1st January hired as part-time secretary in DM Agro ApS.
In conclusion, DM agro ApS is still available facing the new challenges for European agriculture. Remember our goal is that our customers will be among the top ten!
